Truly Scrumptious describes and represents all items as accurately as possible. We realize, however, that there are instances where holding and seeing a piece of jewelry in your hand varies greatly from viewing it in a scanned photograph. Please bear in mind that many items for sale are old. Some wear is to be expected. Wear is not damage. In a situation such as this, returns will be accepted only if the return is made within seven days when a full refund of the purchase price excluding the shipping fee will be made promptly upon receiving the item in the same condition in which it was shipped. All items must be fully insured.

ORDERING ONLINE

Orders will be processed as they are received. Items are one of a kind and therefore are subject to prior sale. Orders should be placed by clicking on the “add to shopping bag” option under each item. This will place the jewelry in our secure shopping bag and the item will be reserved. To see items in your bag click on the shopping bag icon located on the top of each page. Items can also be removed from your bag at any time by simply clicking on the shopping bag icon showing the bag’s contents and then clicking the “remove” button. To complete your order, click on the shopping bag icon and select "send order" button, or you may email us with the item number you wish to purchase, please include your name, shipping address, and the method you wish to pay by. Maryland sales tax of 6% will be added to all orders shipped to Maryland.

Truly Scrumptious accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, personal checks, and money orders. Layaways and Layaway Policy

We recognize that in the present economy that it is sometimes difficult to pay for merchandise at one time, therefore, we do have a layaway plan. Items costing $50.00 or more can be placed on layaway with an initial payment of one-third of the total, due within five days of the order. Subsequently a second payment of one-third of the purchase price will be due one month after the initial payment. The final payment of one-third plus shipping charges will be due and payable approximately one month after the second payment. If the second or final payment is more than ten days past the due date, the item will be released for sale. In the event of a layaway purchase being cancelled by the buyer prior to receipt of the final payment, we reserve the right to keep 50% of the amount already paid. This also applies if final payment is not made within ten days of the final due date. Please include your name and item number each time you make a payment on your layaway. All layaway items are final sales.

Gift Certificates

Truly Scrumptious now has gift certificates available for purchase. You decide the amount of the gift certificate. Upon receipt of payment a numbered gift certificate will be sent to you. Certificates will include the recipient’s name and your gift amount. Truly Scrumptious will retain a copy for our files with the same information so that when an item is selected from the website the amount will be applied to the selection. Selections may be chosen using our standard product selection while shopping and placing in the shopping bag or for increments other than offered send email or call 877-632-2808.

Paying by Money Order or Check

If paying with a money order or check, click on the shopping bag icon and chose the appropriate option. Print a copy of your order and mail it along with your money order or personal check made payable to Truly Scrumptious at the address below:

Checks must clear our bank prior to any order being shipped. Please allow from three to ten days for your check to clear our bank. We hope to see your payment within ten days if you are remitting payment by money order or check. Merchandise for payments not received within ten days will be returned to our inventory.

Paying by Credit Card

We accept all major credit cards. In order to process your credit card order, we will need not only your credit card number but also the three-digit verification number located on the reverse side of your Visa, Discover or MasterCard or the four-digit number on the front of your AmericanExpress card, the expiration date, the name on the card, your phone number, and your billing and mailing addresses. If you wish to order by phone, please call 877-632-2808. If you reach our answering service, we will return your call as soon as we are able. All credit card orders will be processed via our secure server with Secure Socket Layering technology for your protection.

International Orders

International orders can make payment by the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AmericanExpress (subject to verification), International Postal Money Order, bank draft, drawn in US dollars. No personal checks please. Due to our insurance policy requirements, we are unable to ship to the following countries and thus we are unable to accept orders from them:

Truly Scrumptious cannot be responsible for any duty or customs fees levied by non-US countries. Any such fees are the responsibility of the recipient. We will not undervalue shipments on customs forms but will list the actual purchase price for insurance purposes.

COD Orders

We regret that we are unable to accept COD orders at this time.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

Your order will be presented in a jewelry box with jewelers’ cotton. A shipping amount of $5.00 for Priority Mail, which includes full insurance and delivery confirmation will be added to your order. For overseas orders, shipping costs of U.S. $10.00 for Global Priority Mail will be added to your order. Express mail options are available through United States Postal Service (USPS), United Parcel Service (UPS) or FedEx (FedEx is available for U.S. addresses only) for an additional fee. Please note that UPS and FedEx do not deliver to post office boxes.

Orders paid for with a check are shipped as soon as the check clears our bank (three to ten days). Orders paid for by credit card, postal or money orders, or e checks are shipped as soon as the delivery address is confirmed.

REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

Returns that are sent without our prior knowledge will be refused and any monies paid will not be refunded. Items that are not returned within the seven-day period will be considered sold. Unfortunately, not everybody is honest and Truly Scrumptious has had to institute this policy to discourage buyer’s remorse and items being used for special occasions and functions before being returned for a refund.

We make every effort to securely pack our items for shipping to prevent damage and breakage. However, in the unlikely event that, despite our best efforts, your items do arrive damaged, please take the entire order (all contents and all original packing materials) to your local U.S. Post Office immediately to file a claim. The U.S. Post Office will send the claim to us for processing. Please do not repack and do not mail the damaged items back to us as this will void the U.S. Post Office insurance and we will not be able to issue you a refund. If your order is delivered by UPS or FedEx, please contact them to file a claim.
